The estimate request form is a page homeowners fill in to ask for an estimate. It can sit on your own website. Each request lands in Pipeline as a new lead with the source recorded.
Find it
Open Settings, Selling, Lead sources. The Estimate request form is the first row. In Pipeline you can also open it from More options.
- Copy the link and put it on your website, in your emails and on your truck.
- On the web dashboard you can add a button to your site that opens the form.
What the homeowner does
The form is five short steps: Where, What, Photos, When and You.
- Where: their address. It tells them whether you work in their area and lets them send the request anyway.
- What: the services they want, and a few questions you set for each.
- Photos: up to ten.
- When: how soon they want it, a budget range and, if you set booking times, a time for the visit.
- You: name, phone and email, and permission to text.
What you set
- Which services show (Services you offer).
- Which of Photos, Budget, Timing, Preferred times and Booking are off, optional or required.
- Up to three questions per service.
- How soon you promise to reply.
- Who is told about a new request by text or by email.
What happens next
- You get a New request on Today and in Pipeline. The card says what they asked for and where.
- The homeowner sees "We have your request" and how soon you reply.
- If you have a business number on a paid plan, the first reply is a text. Otherwise it is an email. During the free trial, replies go by email.
- A booking slot shows as requested until you confirm, change or decline it.
Possible spam
Requests that look automated go to a Possible spam tray, not your Pipeline. Open the tray and choose Not spam to release one, or Delete. Held requests are kept for 30 days.
Taking a request by phone
If someone calls, use Take a call to fill in the same form for them. They agree to texts out loud.
Pro tip: Send a test request to yourself. Preview mode shows the whole form and confirmation without creating a lead.
