Notes hold the written context of a drawing, and Documents hold the files that belong to it, imported or generated.
Notes
Open notes from the header or with notes. It is a plain text area that saves as you type. Use it for site conditions, client requests, access instructions or follow-ups. Each drawing has its own. The mic button next to the field dictates into it.
Notes print in the report when the notes section is on in Customize. Keep internal reminders out of the client copy, either by turning the section off or by writing client text first.
Documents
Open documents from the header or with documents. It holds files imported into the drawing and the reports you generate, so you have a history of what you sent. Share or save any of them to Files. On team drawings, documents added by one member are available to the others who can open the drawing.
