A team is the workspace your office and crew share. It comes with the Team plan, and the person who creates it becomes its Admin and owner.
Create it
On Pro you work as a personal workspace. Settings, Team, Get more with Team shows what Team adds and lets you upgrade. Once you are on Team, People lets you invite your crew and office. The plan includes 3 office seats. Field people use none. Scale has unlimited seats.
Seats and billing
Extra seats are added on the web for each seat a month, in any number. The owner manages the plan in Settings, You, Plan & billing. When every seat is taken you can invite the next person as Field (always free), change someone to Field to release a seat, or add seats. See Seats.
Markets
A market is a branch, region or division with its own customers, jobs, price book and, on a paid line, its own number. Create and manage markets in Settings, Company, Markets. The name is yours to choose. Assign people to specific markets to control what they see. See Markets.
Field tools
Under Settings, Team, Field tools an owner or manager chooses what the crew's app shows: measuring tools such as AR Measure, the Level and the Elevation Scanner, camera and photo markup, the command bar and the Review dashboard, share to team and live editing, and AI for the team. A tool that is off is hidden, not grayed. The admin always keeps everything. Content catalogs sets the pins, fills and stickers the team draws with.
Who changed what
The Activity log (Settings, Team, Activity log) lists who changed access, markets, tools and catalogs, and when. Entries cannot be edited. Settings, Team, Single sign-on lets an owner on a team plan sign in with the company's identity provider.
Pro tip: Turn off tools the crew does not use. A cleaner toolbar means fewer questions on site.
