Team seats control how many admins, managers, and members your team can have. Collaborators are always free and do not consume seats.
How Seats Work
The Team plan includes 3 office seats. Office and Admin access each use one seat. Field crew are free and unlimited — they never count against your seat total.
The workspace owner sees the seats in Settings, You, Plan & billing: how many are in use and how many the plan includes. If every seat is in use, you can invite the next person as field crew for free, change someone to Field access to release a seat, or add seats on the web dashboard.

Adding and Dropping Seats
Seats are added, changed and dropped on the web dashboard at measuretechpro.com — sign in with the same account and open Billing. Any number of seats, monthly or yearly; the change applies to your team immediately.
Dropping seats matters as much as adding them: removing a person frees their seat in the app, but the seat keeps billing until you reduce the count in Billing. People tells you when you're carrying seats nobody is using.
- Seats are managed on measuretechpro.com → Billing.
- Add or drop any number of seats at any time.
- Removing a person does NOT stop that seat's charge.
- To free a seat, change someone to Field access or remove them from People.
- The Scale plan includes unlimited seats.
Pro tip: Field crew never use a seat. If someone only needs the job, the photos and the clock, give them Field access and keep the seat.
Unlimited Seats
The Scale plan includes unlimited office seats. On an unlimited plan the seat meter disappears — there is no capacity to watch — and People simply reports how many office seats are in use.
Scale is self-serve on the web dashboard, alongside every other plan.
