Settings is one list, grouped by job, and it looks the same in the app and on the web. Open it from the side rail or the account menu. The home page is called All settings, and the search at the top finds a row by its name or by words people use for it, such as 2FA, invoice terms or QuickBooks.
The seven categories
- You: profile, sign-in and security, notifications, My pay and hours, Plan and billing, privacy and account.
- Company: business info, documents, markets, customer domain, customer portal and Job flow.
- Selling: lead sources, service areas, texting, price book, pricing rules, proposal content and field verify.
- Getting paid: invoices and terms, expenses, card payments, accounting, financing and payroll.
- Team: members and access, field tools, content catalogs, knowledge base brands, activity log, shared links, single sign-on and Get more with Team.
- App: appearance, region and language, measuring and drawing, reports and watermarks, AI features, storage, early access and help.
- Integrations: connected services and their status.
What you see
Each row has a rule for who sees it. A row you cannot use does not appear, so a Field person sees a short list and an owner sees all of it. A row on a plan you do not have, such as the customer domain on Scale, explains what it needs instead of failing. Rows marked as device settings (measuring, reports, appearance, storage, AI features) belong to the device or the person, and the others are shared by the whole company.
An owner or admin may see a Finish setting up card. It walks the first steps in order, and you can skip any.
Where to start
Fill in Business info first, since it prints on every report and proposal. Then connect payments and set the invoice terms. See Getting paid.
