Leaf Blaster Pro

Leaf Blaster Pro is a micro-mesh gutter guard system designed for professional installation.

Leaf Blaster Pro is a micro-mesh gutter guard system designed for professional installation. Understanding its specifications and installation requirements helps you accurately document gutter protection work in the field.

Product Overview

Leaf Blaster Pro uses a surgical-grade stainless steel micro-mesh bonded to an expanded aluminum frame. It fits standard 5-inch and 6-inch K-style gutters and installs under the first row of shingles or mounts to the fascia.

The micro-mesh blocks leaves, pine needles, shingle grit, and roof debris while allowing water to flow through. It is rated for heavy rainfall and handles up to 32 inches of rain per hour.

  • Stainless steel micro-mesh on aluminum frame.
  • Fits 5" and 6" K-style gutters.
  • Installs under shingles or on fascia.
  • Handles up to 32 inches of rain per hour.

Measuring & Documenting

Measure total linear feet of gutter runs. Note downspout locations, inside and outside corners, and any areas with end caps. Record the gutter profile (K-style vs. half-round) and size (5" or 6") since Leaf Blaster Pro is designed for K-style.

Document the roof edge condition: shingle overhang length, drip edge presence, and whether existing gutter hangers are interior or exterior bracket style. These details affect installation method.

  • Measure total linear feet of all gutter runs.
  • Count corners, end caps, and downspout locations.
  • Record gutter profile and size.
  • Note roof edge condition and hanger type.

Pro tip: Use a Pin tag at each corner and downspout location on your elevation layout. Add the linear footage for each run in the measurements field for accurate material ordering.

Installation Considerations

Leaf Blaster Pro panels are 4 feet long and overlap at joints. They slide under the first course of shingles and clip onto the front lip of the gutter. No screws through the gutter are required for standard installation.

On metal roofs or tile roofs where lifting shingles is not possible, fascia-mount brackets are used instead. When documenting a job, note the roof material so the correct installation method is specified in your report.

  • 4-foot panels, overlapping joints.
  • Slides under shingles, clips to gutter lip.
  • No screws through gutter in standard install.
  • Fascia-mount option for metal or tile roofs.
