QuickBooks

Send invoices, payments and expenses to your books. Connect once, confirm the company, map expense accounts, then it syncs.

QuickBooks keeps invoices, payments and expenses in your books. It is for the owner or an admin on a paid plan. It is at Settings, Getting paid, Accounting, which opens the QuickBooks page of Integrations.

Connect

If customers and invoices were linked before the company was recorded, you may be asked to Verify company. Only verify if they belong to the company you are connecting.

  • Sign in to QuickBooks.
  • Confirm the account that will join your team.
  • Make sure the company is the one your customers and invoices belong to.
  • Map each kind of expense to an account once, so approved expenses sync as Purchases.
  • The first sync runs by itself.

Day to day

The page shows the last sync and offers Sync now. Expense accounts can be changed under Settings, Getting paid, Expenses.

Disconnect or change company

Disconnect stops new syncs and keeps everything already in QuickBooks, plus the links so reconnecting the same company reuses them. Change account forgets which company it was so the next connect can choose another. Customers and invoices linked to the old company will not sync into the new one, and changing companies is a separate record migration.
